Seaosn 7, Week 1 recap
Week 1 was a quiet success. 12 players came and played. New Shawn (at least that’s what I’m calling him that until I get his last name) was the first of the 07-08 rookie class to hit the linoleum. Rawle Anders came back out for some action and was looking good. Four official games were played and the new stat system (which I’m sure will be controversial) was put into action. The new paper-based stat system saw some trouble, but in time who knows – it may work?
The play was ugly – which is to be expected – but there was definitely some major rust. Even solid performers like Jason and Christian seemed to be off. In an interesting side note, they also seem to have a bit of an on court lovers quarrel. Something to watch for next week. Andrew Jones wasn’t his usual gunning self, a possible side effect of married life? He only got up 24 attemtps, while Isaac Lin tossed 35 at the rim. Rawle was the only player with a double double. (24 points/13 rebounds)
