Like all AFBL seasons past, there are always some bumps in the road. We hit our first in week 2 of season 7. There was some non-communication from the parks & rec and we were temporarily booted from our hallowed indoor court. Damn do-gooders! But, the troops soldiered on, and play commenced quickly on the outdoor mini court. 11+ players participated in some madcap games on the smoker’s court. Competitive play, turnovers galore, a few nice circus shots, surprising defense, and seriously tired people by the end of the day. Next week we retake the indoor for official stat-counting play.
