It seems like yesterday, but this was almost a year ago, in August, 2010. This video was shot at the opening of the Girl x (Red) show in LA. My buddy Hershel was in the show and it was well worth the drive from San Diego to LA. This video was originally made for Living Proof Mag along with photos of the show.
Big thanks to Steve Miller from Exit Skateboards for organizing the show and dealing with all us crazy artists.
Exit Skateshop presents the Third Annual Deck Heads art show. The opening is First Friday, May 7th beginning at 6 PM. The artist list is quite impressive and I’m glad to be a part of it. Come on out to support your friends, bring some cash (cash and carry sales) and see some art. 825 N. 2nd St. Philadelphia, PA, 19123
I’ve been added at the last minute to this awesome show organized by the Autumn Society at Brave New Worlds in Philadelphia. The opening is tonight from 6-9 PM, 45 N. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA. See ya there!
The week before last, on our way to Montreal, we stopped by the opening for Dime Bag 3 at Giant Robot NYC (curated by Jordin Isip and Rodger Stevens). The show is up until the 12th of August, check it out. The above slide show will show you the scene. Big thanks to Jordin for inviting Amy and I!
Saturday night is the opening of Dime Bag 3, curated by Jordin Isip and Rodger Stevens. Dime Bag asks each artist (over 240 of them) to produce a piece that fits inside of the provided ‘Dime Bag’. I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of some of Jordin and Rodger’s shows in the past and as long as they keep asking I’ll keep participating. Come on out Saturday night for the opening at Giant Robot New York, 437 E 9th Street, NY, NY
The Hand Did opening went down Saturday night. A whole bunch of people came out and I’d like to thank all of you for the support. Below are some pics from the opening and of the show itself. Go see the show in person at Mew Gallery, it’s much better in real life than in these photos.
Come on out and see Hand Did, a group show that I’ve curated at Mew Gallery. The show features Amy S. Kauffman, Kris Chau, Tim Gough and Damian Weinkrantz. Everything looks pretty sweet so far so come on out Saturday for the opening, 5-9 PM. The show runs through June 18th.
