Weekend antics – Houser opening/AFBL Season 6 finale
Posted by jfx in art, basketball, opening, show on April 10th, 2007
| This weekend was Jim Houser’s opening of “THIS BEATING HEART ACTS AS A TIMER” at the Painted Bride. You can see a few photos above. The show is really good and is up for two months so go see it. Jim’s band, American Sneakers, played and Sweatheart performed as well. In really big news, the AFBL played our final game of Season 6, you can view the madness here. We got locked out of our gym, but being hardcore, we played outside in the cold. |

Skatefall has been a big hit. From crailtap, to wired, and blogs all over the web, the response has been amazing. One major issue has now been resolved and PC users should find this minor update more friendly when going left in the game. >play skatefall now!!! |

Over the last week or so I re-listened to the first Jungle Brother’s album. It’s so good, so ahead of it’s time. I’m not 100% sure but it sounds like a Prince Paul production. Can anyone back me up on that? If you’ve never had the pleasure of this record, do so. ->buy it from someone |

A good buddy who goes by the name Evil Hockey sent me this onion story. I’m not usually one for re-linking stuff, but this time I’ll make an exception. “Retired S1Ws Recalled to Active Duty” >read this story on the onion |

AFBL Season Finale
Posted by jfx in art, basketball, games, personal on April 10th, 2006
| The AFBL finale went off well. We had a good turnout, some new recruits, and some intense play. Of course, we had our usual missed layups, wild passes to no one, and blood spilled. Check AFBL.org for statisticals details. |
| In other news, I found a great nerdy website for lovers of video games and art about video games – check out Life Meter. |
