There was also a sister clothing company that Andrew Jeffrey Wright and Ben Woodward (who with me also co-founded SPACE1026 in Philadelphia) created called Hole Proof. Part 4 is a Hole Proof ad, created by those two manical geniuses. GoodandEviL skateboards and Hole Proof should have ruled the earth. We made a video, titled “Promotional Video” in 1995 or so. This was filmed in my bathroom, in downtown Providence, Rhode Island.

This Friday at the International Contemporary Art Museum in Philadelphia (the ICA for you hipsters) will feature the opening reception for Locally Localized Gravity. This show is about art collectives in Philadelphia and beyond. The show is gonna be crazy packed with all these groups under one roof, so get there early. I’m using this night also as the offical release of Big Kids/Little Kids – so if you haven’t ordered one yet, come on through and buy one there.

Big Kids/Little Kids – January 19th!

A long time ago I started work on a book. Finally “Big Kids/Little Kids” will hit the streets on January 19th, 2007! The book is about the Philadelphia emerging art scene, but isn’t confined to just Philadelphia. The book features artists who have been influenced by and who have influenced the scene. The book focuses on 4 galleries (SPACE1026, 1Pixel, 222gallery, and Spector) and the artists who’ve shown in these places. SPACE1026 Does Toronto: Magic Pony – July27th

Thanks to the expanding reach of the 1026ers (Jesse Goldstein) SPACE1026 is doing a show at Magic Pony in Toronto, Canada. Art in the Style of Radical is the name, prints, paintings, photos, embroidery (I’m sending some embroidery) will all be on display and available for consumption. The opening is on Thursday the 27th of July from 8PM to 11.
