My first eBook is now available on the Apple bookstore. This digital zine is 100 pages long with work from 20 artists and is my first forray into this new form of publishing. Some time ago I had a series of hard drive failures that forced me to do a lengthy overhaul of my digital archives. In the process many of my ‘recovered’ files showed up as strange versions of their previous selves. This zine is an attempt to make good from bad and move forward from the wreckage. Rich Jacobs is an old friend and an amazingly active guy. A long way back he asked me to send him some old skate zines and I did. Time passed and in an odd coincidence I ran into him at Printed Matter during his recent trip to new York to take down his 15th Move Show titled “There is Xerox on the insides of your eyelids”. To my happy surprise, some of my work was in this show along side some of the masters of the form. The show has been traveling around and will go to Holland next, so I’m told. Thanks Rich for including me.

One of the best things that I’ve gotten this year is this stapler. I know that doesn’t seem too exciting to most people. But, as a zine making person, staplers hold a special place in my heart. I’ve always used the long arm variety, and I don’t intend to give up on that trusty friend. But, this new guy and his compact, transformative magic will most definitely change my mobile work habits. I can throw this guy in my backpack with no worries. The only drawback is that this – it uses the compact No.10-1M mini staples. You can only get through 15 pages or so. I’m sure I’ll push that limit. All this and it’s cheap, under $10.

After over 12 years, Milkcrate #1 has been re-issued. This is the original photo project that turned into Milkcrate Digest. Crate things to do, Crate Session, Pop-up centerfold milkcrate, and the Thank You story. so get them now at the milkcrate digest store. Or at the store here.

After almost 12 years, Milkcrate #2 has been re-issued. This is a remaster, not just a simple re-copy. The cover is the same, from the original print run. 2-Color copy toner on baby blue cardstock. These won’t last too long, so get them now. Milkcrate #8 has undergone some technical testing, and hits the copy machine next week.
