Deck Heads 3 opening Friday night

Exit Skateshop presents the Third Annual Deck Heads art show. The opening is First Friday, May 7th beginning at 6 PM. The artist list is quite impressive and I’m glad to be a part of it. Come on out to support your friends, bring some cash (cash and carry sales) and see some art. 825 N. 2nd St. Philadelphia, PA, 19123

Finger Painting with Brushes app

I did this “finger” painting yesterday while the 2nd blizzard of 2010 hit Philadelphia. There was no bird, I made that part up. This was done with the very popular Brushes app for the iPhone and it’s partner desktop app, Brushes Viewer. Click below to watch an animation of my painting. The funny part is that the animation doesn’t record my strokes, but instead, builds the painting from the bottom-most layer to the top. –> Bedroom Window animated

Happy Holidays

This is a painting, that I now call ‘Christmas Skulls’, which I painted about 10 years ago. That tells you how my fast my hard drive clean up process is going. I threw this painting in the garbage on my move from the warehouse in Chinatown. I’m pretty sure it was taken from the trash before the truck came. I wonder if it’s in someone’s home, or if it was turned back into a christmas table cloth. Happy holidays and a happy new year.
