We’re at the tail end of 2024, and we’re supposed to reflect on the past 365 days. We’re supposed to learn shit and evolve as humans, right? I’ve learned things, sure. Have I applied those learnings to my actual life? That’s debatable. I’ve come to an understanding that I delay things–a lot. I’ve been playing the game ‘Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’ on the Nintendo Switch for WAY too long. I did the same thing with the previous Zelda game, ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’–doing every side quest, every mission, collecting every item and weapon. I adore both of these games, but while playing the first game, I had the excuse of the pandemic. There wasn’t a lot else to do during those lockdown days. What’s my excuse now? I’ve been putting off defeating the game mostly because I know that it will be over and that I’ll stop playing it once the quest is complete. I don’t want it to end and that’s a problem.

Phase 004 is done. What does it all mean? What’s next? I’ve realized one thing during this little project–it’s hard. For that reason alone, I think I’ll keep at it.
