Weekly Design Links – 5/13/25

I’m finding the new groove, I think. There’s been a lot of change, new schedules, patterns, some travel, and life continues to throw curveballs when you least expect it. But, somehow, we continue to get shit done. The next Tails Of… will be here this month. You should subscribe if you like art or skateboards. If you like both, then you really should check it out. I’m several weeks late on another phase post, but I’ll get there sooner otherwise later. Let the links shine, enjoy.

Nazar Symotiuk

Architecture

Su Yuan, House and Garden / Atelier Deshaus
Located in Dayu Village, Malu Town, Jiading District of Shanghai—an area renowned for grape production—this project occupies a former township-owned factory site that had been decommissioned for ecological reasons.

A Compact Modern Treehouse Designed for Adults in Hungarian Mountains
Nestled in the forested slopes of Hungary’s Dunabogdány village, a new mountain retreat has quietly emerged – offering a contemplative escape perched above the scenic Danube Bend. Dubbed the Console House, this secluded hideaway is the latest creation from Hello Wood, a studio known for its inventive use of timber and harmony with nature.
