You’ve probably noticed by now—AI doesn’t often make its way into these posts. Not because I’m anti‑AI. I use it all the time—maybe even daily. I’ve been messing around with some of the vibe‑coding tools lately, and as a designer, I’ve found them empowering.
I’m firmly in the “AI is a tool” camp. But here’s the thing: most of what I see generated by AI doesn’t move me. It often feels flat, hollow—I find it lacking and often shallow. I’ve seen some good uses of AI, but I gravitate towards the human touch, beautiful errors, and happy accidents.
