This post is a little late today because I spent most of last night deep in one of my side projects, Tails Of…, designing a new t-shirt. I tinkered with the design for hours and hours. I don’t think it’s there yet; it needs more time. This is what we do. I will spend hundreds of hours on a design (or project) that no one in the world cares about, except me. In the past, I tried to make these projects economically viable. Now, I couldn’t care less. I still need to make a living. That hasn’t changed. I just don’t have the expectation anymore that the nerdy shit that I care about will resonate beyond my screen. This project started that way and continues to make zero dollars. Long live the fruitless side project!
