Trying to explain something new is never easy. It’s even harder when you don’t know where it’s headed. When I was young, I discovered zines. It changed my life. It connected me with people, places, ideas, music, art, and culture that I would have never discovered in my small-town world. I have friends of 30 years or more from this time. We connected through the mail by way of Xerox and an independent energy. This project is an effort to rekindle that spirit. The tools, medium, and distribution have changed\u2013but the core idea of personal expression remains. We’ll see how this goes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
