The internet is still an amazing place to get lost. Sometimes, I stumble into an old familiar neighborhood and get a little deja vu. This happened in a very pleasant way this week when I found a music video (that I thought was new) from the band OK Go. OK Go became famous<\/a> for doing silly dance music videos<\/a> way before everyone danced for fame and likes on TikTok. To my surprise, the video was 14 years old. Like many of their efforts, it’s a concept piece set to music. This one is a 213 hour effort of time lapse magic<\/a> all while wearing color-coordinated outfits in a public park. I’ve never bought any of their music, but projects like this bring me joy. I love a simple idea that gets taken way too far. As Willy Wonka said (quoting the poet Arthur O’Shaughnessy), “We are the music makers, And we are the dreamers of dreams.” I’ve gone too far, it’s link time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
