I get fascinated by the most random things. Once something grabs my attention, I go down the rabbit hole and often don’t escape for hours, days, weeks, or years.
This week it was the YouTube channel The Vocalyst… so good — and many of this week’s links carry glimpses of that same pull.
The ability to go deep is always there. That’s what I love about the internet.

The Cardboard Chair for free (Nordwerk MC 302)
Everyone is welcome to produce this chair to use it for events and exhibitions or as a piece of furniture. We are doing this to make an impact, to give companies, organizations and the whole world a reason to either use more recycled and/or recyclable material or even to upcycle waste.

The logo is built around Kunsthandel (Brutal Types), a raw, assertive display face that gives the brand its morning energy. It’s paired with Conductor Condensed Bold (Frere-Jones Type) for headings and secondary elements, a narrow typeface that adds density while staying legible.

When a leader creates friction, organizations default to a single explanation: the leader needs to change. In reality, that friction usually comes from one or a combination of four different sources—capability, perception, identity, or system. Because those look similar on the surface, organizations tend to categorize them under one bucket, behavior and make high-stakes decisions based on that assumption. The cost is not just ineffective development. It is flawed promotion decisions, stalled succession pipelines, and the quiet loss of high-impact leaders who are labeled as “difficult” when they are, in fact, misread.
