Weekly Design Links – 11/18/25

This week’s links are more work-related than pure eye candy. That’s where my head is at. I’ve always enjoyed process, the ugly, messy way that beautiful stuff gets made. I tend to work in fits and starts, but there’s a constant churn. Sometimes it’s all in my head, and other times it’s iterative in a design tool. I’ve learned to follow my instincts after making every possible mistake. There isn’t one way to get there. Get lost, find your way again, and enjoy the process.

Near the ancient ruins and atop contemporary remnants, we decided to create a new “relic.” Why must “new” architecture be sleek and precise? Why not evoke the raw, moving power of archaeological ruins?
