| This zine got around. It started simply. I was hanging around talking with my friend Don Kahler about the state of skate in the early 90s. We can up with some ideas about Mr. Rocco and his evil brewing evil empire. I didn’t grow up in southern california. I was in Pennsylvania, just making stuff up. So, these talks and some good oid observation created the Kill Rocco Zine. I published it and started sending it all around. News spread, multiple printings, and random press coverage. I got letters from pros telling me how some of this info (that I pulled out of my ass) was right on. I also got an angry letter from Todd Swank defending Steve Rocco. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. | |||
